Forums - Sony - Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes leads June’s PlayStation Plus line-up

Seems as good a place as any to post this, even if it's off topic. Following my recent exploration of Konami classics, I just finished my first MGS game (because Ground Zeroes doesn't count) with Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D. Absolutely fantastic game. I completely get where the love for this franchise comes from, and I absolutely can not wait to play Kojima's swan song with The Phantom Pain.

Kojima really is a genius.

Also, the cutscenes weren't nearly as invasive as people made them out to be. They were only really bad in the very beginning and towards the end when your leading up to the last few bosses.

Interesting one to start on. Although it is fairly standalone compared to the others, so it works.
Not going to play 1, 2 and 4 before 5 comes out?

Don't currently have the means. Wish they'd release Twin Snakes for VC or something. I'm sure they're all just as good.

EDIT: Scratch that. I forgot about the HD Collection. Hm... We'll see.

As usual, the ones I care about I already have. I'm still waiting for Tearaway to be free someday.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is one of my 10 favorite games of all time!
is Ground Zeros a good idea if I feel so strongly about MGS4?

1.Super Mario Bros.
2.Tetris(almost any version)
3.Uncharted 2.
4.Super Mario Galaxy 2.
5.Metal Gear Solid 4.

I bought it twice (PS3 & PS4) for $5 each :( Gameplay is pretty great, but the main story took me an hour to finish.

Not crazy about something that should been a demo in the first place but whatever. I'm not a MGS fan either way.

Wow, amazing month.

Shogun was an awesome XBLA title, and Gunslinger is an amazing game.

Only MGS4 took cutscenes too far. I thought the first 3 games had a good balance.

OT: Already bought MGS on PC, but other games look great. Pretty decent month.

Excited for MGS.

so now they put demos as one of PS+ perks?
