I also can't seem to get into mainline Pokemon games, but for some reason I absolutely love Colosseum. Also, Pokemon Snap is awesome.

Maybe because the main games are too long for you? I got Alien: Colonial Marines. Whatever Sega did to fix it. The game is actually good. Beyond better than the still broken Star Trek Co-op game.

I didn't think Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor was that good of a game.

Also, thought L.A. Noire kinda sucked.

I actually thought DmC(Devil May Cry) was a pretty decent game.

I didn't think A Link Between Worlds was "DA BEST THING EVA!"

Speaking of Zelda, thought Wind Waker was much better than either Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword

Other than Red Dead Redemption(which I loved), I never cared too much about Rockstar's games.

2D sonic is terrible

FFXIII's battle system was step in the right direction

Red Dead Redemption is boring, never got past the first handful of hours.

i don't think multiplayer focus games like cod or battlefield should have of a single player campaign instead those resources that would be use to make it should be used to make a better multiplayer experience glad battlefront doesn't have it though i am a bit worried this mission mode hopefully it is just instant action.

a game running more smoothly looks better to me then having more pixel's on screen.

not every open world game needs to have be bigger world then skyrim they just need plenty of stuff to do in it hell look at the Yakuza series those games have more things to do then most open world games and they are only looking at most a few cite blocks in size.

MGS2 is a better game then MGS1 and MGS4.

Assassin's Creed fails as both a stealth game and a action game

PS4 and Xbox One are currently way too identical there is no reason to own both right now.

QTE's as a whole just scream developer laziness to me.

i can understand why Japanese developers are shifting to mobile just look at Japan's console sales.

we need to lose a A in AAA games cause their budget's are getting out of control big time they to need bring them down big time or else we're gonna face a video game crash.

we need to call out Sony and Microsoft on their anti consumer DLC exclusive deals.

replay value matters more then the time it takes to beat the game.

i rather see new takes on existing IP's then new IP's that play a lot like already existing games.

i hope Kojima doesn't go to any of the first parties his games need to be exprience by everyone.

GTA IV (+ Vice City and San Andreas for that matter) is better than GTA V

Infamous is the weakest among SCE's big franchises

Driveclub is amazing and best PS4 exclusive after TLOU (don't kill me Bloodborne fans, I just don't have the patience to master BB)

Super Mario 3D World is better than Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros 4

Xbox 360 (and its gamepad) is superior to PS3 in every aspect except its game library (fork you kinect focus, you killed an Xbox fan)

I dislike Valve and want GOG Galaxy to take over the world. I'll gladly leave my 250 Steam games...............maybe :/

I like remasters (sry PwerlvlAmy) as they often offer a better experience for those that never played the game in the first place or for those that liked it and want another playthrough. Furthermore, they generally don't steal sales from new games (only 2 remaster in PS4 top 30)

Linear games are often way more enjoyable than open world (the exception being Fallout 3, don't know why)

I don't mind DLC or microtranactions (I've never bought any of that)

I very much like Capcom, Sega, Square Enix, EA, Activision Blizzard, Ubisoft, etc. I'm indifferent towards Konami.

i'll take it a step further and say that i rather see a new Zelda game that uses Wind Waker's artstyle then Twilight Princess artstyle.

Wind Waker and Skyward Sword were my favorite Zelda titles.

Star Fox: Assault is my favorite SF game that isn't 64.

Skyrim wasn't that fun to me.

Golden Sun: Dawn Dawn was an above-average game and deserves a follow-up.

Fire Emblem: Awakening was my GOTY 2013

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is my favorite game.

Porn games are the best games ever made

The OP wants unpopular opinions , not facts.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

All of my opinions here seem to be unpopular gaming opinions.

So unpopular that I had to dedicate an entire signature to convincing everyone that I'm not "stating my opinions as facts," because some have been too thick to understand the meaning of context. As in, I don't have to preface everything I say with "in my unpopular opinion," because the context of the sentence is evidence enough that what is being said is unpopular, and an opinion.

Resident Evil 5 is the best game of the franchise.

Metal Gear Solid 2 is the best game of the franchise.

Ratchet and Clank is boring, although I have only played the first one. Apparently A crank in time is good.

Ico is miles better than Shadows of The Colossus. SoTC is actually boring.

Mario Kart, Sonic and Monster Hunter are the most boring franchises ever conceived. I can't simply extract any kind of enjoyement from those, and I wish Nintendo ditched MK altogether and focused on F-Zero.

Capcom has develop the best games out there. No other company comes closes to what they have achieved.

I think I... hate you?
