I tend to play every few days, I've had plenty of villagers move out, mostly the ones I like with me being stuck with those I've never liked since day one.
That said I do feel pretty down when one of my fave villagers just flat out leaving, sometimes I see them in town but even then I know they wont ever come back.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

If Agnes or Yuka ever leave I'll probably stop playing the game forever.
I feel your pain. I've had a few villagers I really liked move away (RIP Amelia and Wolfgang). Hopefully you can prevent some of your other favorite villagers from meeting the same fate.
