so you just picked specific parts of what i said. Cool. PS4 has the biggest install base worldewide. Now for what you said, that is a discussion for another time as im sure SE is going for a more worldwide focus regardless of series, especially if they want this to sell good numbers on consoles, but we'll see soon enough

it article strictly says its NOT being made for mobiles or handhelds. Are people even reading these things are just coming to there own ill formed conclusions?

I'd love a new Dragon Quest game in the vein of DQVIII for home console, a lot of people would love that, make it happen SE

Where are these 3DS comments coming from? OP you should add this quote from the link you put

This game has already been confirmed for a console release so stop with the 3DS and mobile comments.

Then it would be better on ps4, because it's not region-locked at least.

PS fans : " We want this games coming exclusively for PS4, or if not then bring this cross gen for PS3."

Nintendo fans : "We want this games on Nintendo Wii U, if it impossible then we would rather see this games downgrade to portable gaming with 3DS rather coming to other platform!"

Xbox Fans : ( biting their finger, while watching both fan arguing )

Square Management : F**k it we will bring this games to iOS and Android

I would agree with everything else except as a Nintendo fan, I don't appreciate all the downgraded ports. If I play something, it has to usually be the game that the developers had imagined it to be. Ports like the Dragon Quest 8 on 3DS are just games for Dragon Quest's 30th anniversary and to make a quick buck. I really don't care if we get it or not.

You should definitely read the comments here, I wouldn't agree about the part where it wouldn't come to other platforms but if it was on 3DS it would be a totally different game if it was just a console game. I would say it's pretty spot on for all fans.
