Can someone please lock this thread already. It just hurts to much. Defending nintendo is imposible now. Just end it.

First of all E3 isn't over, 2nd of all stop over reacting. Treehouse will continue and they will announce 1 or 2 more games like they did last year along with release dats for devil's third once itagaki shows up. They spread out their announcements over the entirety of E3. Just relax.

Has anyone been watching the Treehouse stream? Xenoblade Chronicles X is on at 11:10 here (just under 7 hours) so will definitely be on that!

After that metroid anounsment I cant stay possitive. I also saw the line up of the treehouse coverage and they mentioned nothing new. I was hoping at least a zelda U gameplay or comentary or something.

How can I be overeacting when its unanimous thaat this was one of the worst E3 of all time for nintendo.

I think most of you here are over reacting and treating E3 like they must announce mind blowing stuff during it. We get directs year round and most of the bombs were dropped before E3.  Even if we don't get anything else new oh well, one bad E3 we hope next year is better and get on with our lives. Nintendo did deliver what they said they would do for this E3 and that my friend was one of the biggest warning signs. No Zelda only 2015 and early 2016 games. I don't know why people came in expecting crazy bombs.

The Direct was comically bad. If only it at least provided more humor like Wii Music Drum Guy.

In Nintendo's defense, the Wii U fall lineup sees:

-StarFox
-MarioMaker
-XCX
-Yarn Yoshi
-Animal Crossing Spinoff
-Mario Tennis

That's actually a pretty good and diverse lineup. There just wasn't anything fun or exciting about the event.

2015 and early 2016? Then what happened to devils third? Fatal Frame? Does this mean zelda U is late 2016? DOes this mean that january to june te wii u will have 0 games? Is the wii u going to remain this ridiculously overpriced with this lackk of content and low performance and mandatory gamepad that is useles in most cases?  The overpriced DLC they had acused others of Using? As I hear, Im not sure of it, no online for starfox? 

We are allowed to be upset and dissatisfied, Ill keep waititng for an actual metroid and zelda u and other games that I really love nintendo for, but its still an insult to have to wait this long for anything worthwhile. I know that they have released some good games, but they are not my type of games. Good thing I have yet to buy a wii u, I only jump in when the new zelda is out.

I guess Ill keep having fun with my 3ds, but for me at least, the wii u has nothing aside from xenoblade.

Definitely not the worst E3 Nintendo has had, but it was pretty dull and lacked exciting new content. This being the 30th anniversary of Mario, of course they were going to focus a lot on Mario. Mario Maker looks amazing and I will be getting it, I was just holding out hope that at the end of all the Mario stuff they would be like, 1 more announcement! And then drop Galaxy 3 or Sunshine HD on us, but oh well, Mario Maker is fine. The Metroid and Zelda games are definitely a low blow, and hit us while we are already down. Star Fox is cool and I will be getting that for sure along with XCX.

I really think Nintendo is going to have that new Metroid and the Zelda be NX launch titles. Which sucks, but they do need to launch their new console with a ton of amazing content to get the ball rolling and build momentum.

If you compare smash dlc to other fighting game dlc its cheaper, but you're comparing it to Mario Kart which was pretty much a giveaway. They said online is not a priority. Its not planned as of this point but they said its still a posibility. Wii U will get a price cut but the game pad is the main reason for the price. It wont drop below 250 until the next console comes out but it will see a price drop this year. Devil's third will have an appearance since itagaki is at E3. Fatal Frame has a new trailor (which they didn't show on the event just like they didn't show MP10 last time). Devil's third will launch in august I'm sure. So can we take some time to relax. It was bad, but its not as bad as you guys are making it out to be.
