I liked mowing down some zombie crowds
..that's it though, overall boring.

I enjoyed it more than the first 2. Is also the only one I bothered to finish.

it's a good game. nothing more, nothing less.

Shame, because I was wishing to play the game after playing DR2, which I absolutely loved for everything. I'll try it sometime on PC. Not on this one, though.

As I said, it is a good game. It's just that it struggles to recapture what made 1 and 2 so great, while making some strange game designs that I wasn't too fond of.

Not my kind of series. Rented DR2 when it came out. Stopped after 2 or so hours. Played bit of 3 at friend's house. Ehh bleh.

I miss rental places. :/

I've never played them, thats a shame though I know you're big fan of the franchise.

Dead Rising was never considered a second coming type of franchise. Its a fun and messy mid tier game. i liked the third and first game. The Second game was ok.

I don't consider Dead Rising to be the second coming, but it's certainly one of my favourite franchises ever conceived. I absolutely love the first and second game, but I have the feel that the developers, without the direction of Inafune on this third entry, were clueless at times about what they were doing.

I'm sorry to hear that Wright especially since you were so hyped for it but those are more or less my thoughts as well. Although it's all a bit foggy now, the plot wasn't too memorable for me, it just kind of happened. I had a lot of fun with the game itself though so overall I would say it was a good experience.
