Is it that XCX sold a lot worse than they expected as much as Splatoon is going to be a big hit though? XCX has constantly been listed as a major AAA release by many on here. So far its performed in Japan like a mid tier release.

XCX does look like a major AAA release, it sold 120k and it might do an extra 10-15k lifetime (Sold to retailers + Digital). They are probably banking more on US sales, that said its one of those franchises thats bound to lose money. 

Reguarding Splatoon, its supposedly a budget title (well at least didnt cost much too make) which im hearing all over the place, alot of people didn't expect the game to do well but it looks like it will beat many expectations, at least in japan. 120k shipped already got some people surprised.

That said its Sold to retailers (Shipped) and you can bet alot of that will be sold during its first week, not to mention the shipment # will most likely be alot more.

Ah that title, I thought it was out in Japan earlier, we usually know how much it ships in the week of the media create sales, so this is a insider who knows how much they are shipping in japan.

Yeap exactly. Its currently 120k, could potentially be 130k, 140k, etc. It has a week left afterall. Hopefully sell through is about 100k FW or more!
