The lead developers at Criterion left about a year ago to found a new non EA studio. Hope they create a new Burnout successor.

Sadly I wouldn't count on it as they said previously they wanted to move away from racing games (can't blame them really EA basically turned them into an NFS Sweat shop. when they used to dabble with other experiences too) I guess you could say they got um... burnt out (couldn't resist) on racing games.

I would love to be wrong though.

I love bad puns! Well done sir.

Everyone wants Underground 3 so they better not play about

Neogaffers seem to think it's Underground so fingers crossed eh? Only 3 days to find out though.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Underground 3 would be cool, especially considering Midnight Club seems to be dead.

I suspect that it will just be called Need for Speed Underground, no number added and will be their 3rd reboot of the classics. (We had Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted reboots prior to this)

Frankly I suspect the things fans want won't be in it, they didn't listen with the last 3 for customization and such, really doubt they will start caring now.

Hopefully I'm wrong. I thought Rivals was absolutely ghastly so hopefully they can make a game up to the standard of HP/MW again.

I miss "urban racing" games. A new Underground would be a decent change from sims like Project Cars, and the last few terrible NFS games.
