I want to be excited but after WD, W3 and the like I've just decided to treat it as meh until it either comes out good or bad, that way I don't have to care about it if it turns out to not look as good as what we'll no doubt see at the reveal.

I know its prob not true but looking at the short trailer, graphically/texture it wise it kinda looks on par with Doom 3 or that of a 360 game. Not a good thing. But Like I said that's prob not the case and it will look ''current gen'' during its reveal, unless its cross gen D:


This is actually new engine, id tech 6. And it won't be coming for PS3/X360.

They're still using OpenGL api.

Doom 3 was just... Unplayable to me. Heard this one is taking gameplay back to the doom basics. Excited.

Indeed, I really did not like Doom 3. But from what I've heard and saw about Doom 4, it could be pretty good. Fingers crossed!
