its an interesting topic, mainly because they way they are describing is something new, but is it new  for the handheld market? Or are they trying something new for homeconsole? Maybe its something different than that, something incredibly new that we haven't seen before. or a new hybrid type console. who knows, but what do you think?

I think what it is a device that is going to be a new thing. i think it will be a handheld device, but not a tradional one.  they are going to try to merge the big devices(tablets, itouch, gaming handhelds), with the exception of the phone, together into one device. not sure how they will do that but its just a guess.

Tablet, that can hook up to a docking station, where you can plug in controllers ect.
Screen will be much bigger than say the "gamepad or 3ds" screens, so it can funktion as the consols tv screen.
(this way you dont need to buy your kids a tv as well as a consol, or choose between the two if your poor, hell with some office apps, it could be usefull tool for school work ect)

Im thinking passively cooled when not docked, and running slower speeds + game at lower resolution, touch screen controllers when on the go.

Docking station has air blowers, that blow cool air into/onto the tablet, and its clock speeds go up, and the resolution as well.

would be aimed heavly at the growth market potential that is china.

After last informations, I think that NX is clearly platform with home and handheld consoles.

Hevi integration, same OS, similar architecture...they want home/handheld consoles to be something like iPad/iPhone, like Iwata said: "Home consoles and handheld devices will no longer be completely different, and they will become like brothers in a family of systems."

I'm just gonna say a sole handheld.

i guess 2 devices.

1. something similar to apple tv
2. something similar doe gameboy

both would use arm-cpus - powerwhise just little stronger then wii u.
The handheld version would be lower clocked and offer less resolution and maybe framerate then the home console. Both would play the same games (like iOS games on iphone and/or ipad)

I love how everyone is describing the Nintendo Fusion rumors. Dr. Vita even used the word Fusion -_- Honestly I would love the Fusion rumors to be true but those specs are OP as hell and a gamers wet dream.
