Lets not keep recycling the same arguments. The Wii got no 3rd party support because people thought it wouldn't sell. Shovelware games are quick and easy to make. The Wii has a lot of crappy games on it. Don't buy em and you avoid the problem.

Wii bashing in every thread is unnecessary. The Wii has become too successful for its own good. Now the entire world if focusing on trying to take it down a peg, lol.

What is the X axis? I mean obviously the Y is the metacritic score, but what about the X?

If I had to guess it seems like you are sorting the scores and taking the best rated from each console for the first point, the second best for the second etc...

In any case I once again take this opportunity to point out how worthless review scores are. I've been saying this for months, and it seems like just about every group of people on the forums has gone through a release where they scoffed at reviewers and every time I say "review scores are shite" and then a few days later they forget it...its sort of like a mosquito flying into a bug-zapper..or a child burning his hand on the stove.

As an entirely separate issue from review scores just sucking, there is the fact that reviewers are all hardcore gamers. The effect of this is that if you are a hardcore gamer and nothing else these graphs probably represent your view of the games pretty well. But when you're just a gamer, or a so-called "casual" gamer the graph is worthless because its all based on scores from people who by definition don't have your tastes.

Review scores are very helpful for weeding out games. The Wii gets more shovelware than any prevous console. We'll see if it gets better.

Nobody cares, there're more good games on the Wii than I can afford. Who cares if lots of companies tried releasing crappy games to cash in on the Wii, they aren't selling and developers are realising this

No, the Wii got more games that don't appeal to reviewers as much. Low reviews don't mean less effort is made. Lair is proof plenty of effort can still make a low reviewed game.

Yes there is shovelware on the Wii, but even some of those got decent reviews, like Scarface. 

This isn't about defending the Wii as much as attacking illogical connections. 

Possibly the LEAST understandable graph I've ever seen.

Why is it lined? Is one game somehow connected to another?

WHat the hell is the x-axis??? And most importantly, what the hell am I even looking at?
