And you know this how?

The same way you know that "People buy a ps4/Xbox for all type of games so only a small percent buy each game" and that " if mk went multi plat it wouldn't sell millions on PlayStation". :D

But I know that peoples buy a ps4/Xbox for all types of games so only a small percent buy each game because there is a thing called software sales figures, you ever seen those before? You know the things that tell us that relative to install Base games don't have a high attach rate. Mk wii wouldn't sell that well on PS cause if there was a interest in those games crash kart etc would sell better. So yeah not sure what you getting at really

The only way I see that happening is if Sony got GTA6 exclusive.

So you think the  people that bought a Wii for bowling and Wii Fit are also buying a PS4 and potentially Morpheus?

There are casual gamers who bought it because its supposed to be the next big thing. Sony themselves said they are targeting the former Wii audience and want to capture that crowd, and it does appear to be working.

http://www.nielsen.com/us/en/insights/news/2015/no-stranger-to-the-video-game-most-eighth-generation-gamers-have-previously-owned-consoles.html

There is a big shift of PS4 owners who used to own a Wii. Not to mention the reasons people bought a PS4 were the focus of the advertising. Graphics, processing power, family wants it etc. It might not be as much as Nintendo nabbed with the Wii, but there are casual customers on board with PS4. Sony just needs to harness this base with the right game/peripheral. I'm betting its Morpheus.

And MS wanted us to believe we'd have a relationship with our TV.

Just no. You don't seem to understand the Wii casuals market very well if you think they've migrated, even in small doses, over to PS4.

? I even shown you nielson sales data that shows former Wii owners went PS4. I'm sure that it wasn't the elderly and the like, but there has been a shift. If Sony makes a smash hit with Morpheus I could see that base only growing. Lets say that Sony makes some version of Wii sports but featuring the morpheus helmet and 2 move controllers. Something like that could get sales.

For the life of me I cannot think of one game that could sell anywhere near that many on the PS4, despite the Wii U's low install base it will still probably have some of the best selling games this gen and thats due to the name brand of Nintendo's IPs. I can't think of any of Sony's IPs that are as appealing to all audiences as that of Mario.

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

Nope.

( Best input ever. )

That doesnt make sense since those games sold poorly on the wii despite its larger userbase.

People keep making the mistake of thinking that last generation there was a userbase of 260+ million people, and like to assume that out of that userbase 95million were casuals and all had Wiis. But tah ain't true. Not even close. Just on my account there's 1 Wii, 1 X360 and 2 PS3 (the 1st one didn't last much) on that 260+ million userbase. I played CoD, Wii Sports and MKWii on Wii, and also CoD and FIFA on PS3. Sure i'm no casual cuz alongside those I played 50 other games. But many so-called casuals actually played FIFAs and MKWii, now they're just playing FIFA.

So are you saying most wii sales were not casuals, but FIFA and COD gamers buying a wii for mario kart?

If so why are they not getting wii U and MK8?... oh thats right, its because the motion control appeal to the one time system owning casuals is gone.

Anyway, why did you just pick FIFA and COD? Why not something like need for speed, WWE, borderlands, skyrim? Before you know it, your argument would suggest everyone that plays any half-casual game bought the wii, and therefore very few casuals did.

No. PS2 didn't on an install base of 160 million

No since Kart did not sale that or anywhere near it. It was bundled give always. So yes easily if sony chooses to give GT7 away for years like nintendo did with kart. I doubt they would they like selling games on Ps4.

Mario Kart Wii shipped 27 million units before it was bundled.

mario kart wii was a cultural phenomenon, just like gta v... so, it's not easy.
