Even if it did, it would be for a limited time, then Sony would use another game to bundle. On PS4 theres a 'most wanted' or 'essential game you must have' coming out every other month.

Nope the PS playerbase is much more diverse. You might see a multiplat game like GTA do it tho, especially if the marketshare increases to close to 60%

This, people who buy nintendo consoles buy mario. Simple as, and Mario Kart just happens to be the most accessible and fun mario game there is. There isn't that big a chunk of PlayStation fans that are fans of one particular series.

C'mon. It's really not that hard for Sony to do. They just have to stop those pesky multiplatform games coming to their console taking away precious sales.

Wii was plenty of multiplatforms and third party exclusives. It has 160 milion sellers, not, they are not all first party exclusives from Nintendo
