I'm considering buying one for Project CARS. I used to own one for the N64 when I was a kid, so it's a nostalgia thing more than me wanting to get hardcore into racing sims.

Don't think so, the only worthwhile steering wheels now days for sims are the Thrustmaster T300 or 500 and i think they're only compatible with PC, PS and Xbox platforms but i could be wrong. The Logitech G27 is good too but i think that's only compatible with last gen and PC but i think you can get adapters for other consoles but not sure if Wii U has one.
