This really only reaffirms my suspicions that DQXI will be heading to 3DS though. There have been several remakes, and a couple new spinoffs, in addition to DQX. They're building up the fanbase on the platform for a reason, I think.

They're also building a fanbase on the PS4 with Dragon Quest Heroes though.


i've seen some people in the past bring up the possiblity that 11 is on both the 3DS and PS4

With 3DS' holiday lineup seemingly lacking this year, they may just do it this time.

True. But at the same time...

2 remakes, 2 spinoffs, 1 mainline vs 1 spinoff. 

Not saying it won't come to PS4, but if we're talking exclusivity, I think 3DS is more likely. Though having it as a multiplat wouldn't hurt anyone.

3DS? Kind of a waste no? DQVIII is such a gorgeous game, it would look AMAZING in HD on the PS4...

Considering there is already a western release of this game on the ps2 it would be stupid as hell not to release this in the west. All the translation work is already done. should cost barely anything to at least throw it up on the eshop at minimum.
