Are NIS remakes usually sold at full price on release ?
I have yet to play the first game but exciting news anyway !

Never heard of it lol..... youtubed it and watched a few lets plays.
Looks okay, music reminds me of the Disgaea games.
Another japanese game, thats only on P4? Theres a trend here.
Eh witch and the hundred knight isn't really a good game.... I was kind of enjoying it for a bit but it has too many annoyances that became more and more frustrating as the game went on. I'd had enough after 16 hours. If they fix the numerous issue theres an ok game in there somewhere.

A little surprising that they're making a sequel, but I'm glad they're continuing with the series. NIS isn't relying on Disgaea and I like it.
Interesting that they're plowing forward with this series. My understanding is that the original was a sales success but financial disappointment (due to them spending so long developing it) so they must have faith that the IP has room to expand.
I don't share that optimism in that regard. The first seems to have been pretty poorly regarded, so unless the remake on PS4 changes a lot of people's minds, I doubt they're going to give it another chance.
And that's not even counting the fact that Disgaea 5 performed terribly on PS4, so...
But anyway, I'm glad to see NIS expanding beyond Disgaea again (and not just in to the kind of cheap stuff that they seem to be putting on Vita). I'm at least hopeful that this can signal a new age for them, but I'm fearful it's the beginning of a road that's going to end in Imageepoch-esque disappearing if they don't sell enough.
