Satoru Iwata is receiving a Lifetime achievement award in DICE, and also received a lenghty praising(I lack a better word now)

Well this puts a damper on the four more characters idea. I can already see this game getting slammed for not being worth $60.

I honestly think it should be cheaper, like 45 bucks or so. At least it has a single player mode, but 16 characters (if that's the final number, but it appears so for the advances I've read) are not too many.
Personally I don't mind a lot about the character number, because I only play in the end with 1 or 2 characters like in Smash, but, still, it would do with 4 or 5 more characters.

Eh, I'll still shovel out the $60 for it day 1 like the Mareep I am. I usually use the majority of a game's roster, so my main issue isn't necessarily that there's only16 fighters, but who those fighters actually are, or rather aren't. While we thankfully have atleast one rep from each gen, we have no Normal, Bug, or Rock types, and instead we have two Pikachus and two Mewtwos.

Yeah, me too, but it doesn't change the fact that 60 bucks is expensive for this game. I wouldn't say it's barebones, but it could do with 10 bucks less. Or with a free DLC promise like Splatoon.

IGN have released their top 25 Wii U games, updated with 2015's releases.
Spoiler: it's cancer.

Oh it is barebones, and I agree it should be cheaper, especially since it's technically just a port, but they know we're all Mareep and will buy it anyway lel. Atleast the gameplay is pretty unique making the price more justifiable.
