Just bought Xenoblade digital yesterday with my slow ass internet connection it should finish download by the weekend..gotta say tho currently playing Witcher 3 and I hope Xenoblade Chronicles x is atleast 1/10th as good then I'll be satisfied

It was noted that the Shovel Knight Amiibo could be scanned through the box (unlike all the other amiibos)

Apparently, this was done on purpose:

“We got a lot of feedback from fans before release who wanted to be able to scan the amiibo inside the packaging so they could still use the figure [in-game] while keeping it as a collector’s item,” said Yacht Club Games’ David D’Angelo.

“We didn’t see much issue with their request: while you can stand with a 3DS in store and try to scan it — we didn’t think that was actually something people would do due to the nature of the content we were making.”

Lol, plot twist, there are no Amiibos to scan with because of limited supply :p

Famitsu has released their yearly sales data and it will come as no surprise to those of you who view the Media Create sales charts on a Wednesday to learn that Nintendo came away by far as the top publisher in Japan. The Kyoto based company was followed by Bandai Namco, Capcom, Square Enix and finally Level 5. Also, if you’re interested, here’s the top twenty best-selling video games in Japan during 2015.
