The Real Squid Sisters :o

I love the Hammerhead Bridge map! The bright blue aesthetic is really appealing, and the layout is really fun to experiment with as well. I'm glad they added this now since it was something to pull me away from Super Mario Maker for a bit. I ended up choosing Team Science for Splatfest. I have a feeling it will win, and I wanted to go with my profession.

On a side note, while it's unfortunate that the Wii U is missing a relatively big game this holiday, I think it's for the best since Star Fox should end up better now and it will make Q1 stronger for the console.

You know, at first I thought the timing of the delay after the new President showed was odd. But then another timing bit hit me: it's post TGS, after we got confirmation of several games being 2016, most notably Persona 5. And I wonder if that didn't trigger a revelation: the exclusive lineups this year aren't exactly killing it this holiday. Uncharted 4, Persona 5, Horizon Zero Dawn, No Man's Sky, Star Ocean 5, Ratchet and Clank, Gears of War, Scalebound, and numerous others are all 2016. So I wonder if Nintendo didn't conclude that with the 3rd parties being the battlefield of 2015 and 2016 shaping up to be a bloodbath in terms of exclusives that it might be wiser to stack the deck ahead of time. Star Fox Zero, Genei Ibun Roku 3FE, Star Fox, Zelda, Project Treasure, Pokken, and possibly Pikmin 4 are all now in 2016 which is a pretty good start at building that lineup. Again, speculation with no evidence other than timing but just a thought.

I know you're probably talking in the US but that one is out in Japan at the very end of the year, the 26th. I'm guessing closer to may for that one in the states. I'm just waiting for the direct that confirms Wii U wont be dead in 2016 though.

Yes yes, i mean the US.  And I don't think the Wii U will be dead in 2016, it would be kinda counter productive to have 4 or 5 noteworthy exclusives - three or four carrying big names on the box - launch on a console without fanfair or surrounding support.  The only question is how big will 2016 be.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I don't think the Wii U will be dead in 2016. It already has fairly big titles in Genei Ibun Roku #FE (NA/EU), Pokken Tournament, Star Fox Zero and (presumably) Zelda U alongside smaller titles such as Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, Lost Reavers, Project Guard, Project Giant Robot (if that still exists), etc. alongside some 3rd party support like Mighty No. 9 and Terraria. I also suspect Nintendo will drop a couple more big-name titles on the platform by the end of 2016, I just don't know which ones.

Edit: And there's also Pikmin 4. Still unsure where that's going.

That DragonBallZ cover looks AWESOME!
Especially when you have a Black N3DS. The orange suits very well.
