I think Zanza and Dickson are connected somehow and they're probably going to gang up on us at some point. I don't think the Mechon are truly evil, just Machiavellian. What their end goal is I don't know. Metal Face was obviously evil, but the lady controlling Fiora isn't.


Might be a good idea to put a few spoiler tags here and there.

The August Update finally allows for private lobbies, so you know what that means! Splatoon Tournaments!

Basically, like all other events, all you need to do is to sign up with your nickname and be sure to friend the person(s) hosting the event! (They will be shown on the signup sheet). Under normal circumstances, the hoster be Ultrashroomz (NNID: Ultrashroomz)

Depending on the number of participants, there will be either one or two groups. If there are two groups, you will then be designated to one of two groups. BE SURE TO JOIN THE GROUP YOU WERE ASSIGNED TO! 

We will be playing Turf Wars, Splat Zones and Tower Control, but will only play one mode for the whole duration of the tournament. No weapons, subweapons, specials, items, and/or skills are banned so use your best build! You can also switch weapons and gear between battles so you aren’t limited to using one weapon only. Teams will be randomly assigned within each group. However, you will play on the same team for 3 matches in a row before the teams are reshuffled.


Specific Turf Wars Rules:

Score will be determined by earning the most points overall. Since the bonus 300 points will be included for the winning team, be sure to try to ink as much turf as possible to get the bonus points. However, the MVP for the losing team will also be able to earn points as well so try your best! All maps will be used on random

You're not Ultra.

@bold: I don't get it. We're playing every mode, but we're only playing one mode during the tourney? What? Um, so am I right to just assume the tourney is going to be Turf Wars only?

He'd give the same rules too though, because it's in the OP and it's linked in the sign ups :P

But yes, we will only be playing Turf Wars only for this tournament. It's a bit reduntant to write the rules over and over again for each mode, so I made a general rule set and adjusted accordingly for the 'specific modes'

God damn it why Moray Towers now!? Was doing so good today getting up to S 85 and could probably have reached S+ before bed, but of course the last rotation contains my least favorite map. That's actually not the main issue though, I just haven't played Rainmaker on it yet, and I don't wanna learn how now, not while I'm this close! So yeah, call me a coward or whatever, but I'ma wait until tomorrow!

okay. :D

For Prison Island, there would be a point of no return, so better to save before that scene. I have preferred to complete the game on my 1st playthrough and defeat the 5 superbosses.  I know it would be easier on the 2nd playthrough, but I hate to start over again. :)

Sound track wise on Prison Island is also great, but I'm hook on the Bionis Leg track and the boss fights' soundtrack (Unique Monster).
