The 360 has fallen through the floor on Amazon.com, local retailers say the PS3 is outselling it. I'm shocked that VGChartz is reporting that the 360 is outselling the PS3 in the US.

Um, you do realize that the only time EVER that NPD showed the PS3 outselling the 360 was January, and that was by a small margin. Why would you be surprised at all that the 360 is doing better here?

The PS3 beating 360 in America was unheard of before January...

the 360 is more popular than the ps3 in the US, but i believe things will change later this year however.

 hmmm, wasn't it 260K for PS3 and 200K for 360? I wouldn't say it's by a small margin.

 

Wait for Feb NPD's number out on 13th of this month and then comment on it.

well usa is 360's home base. thats kinda like going into old trafford and trying to beat man utd.

but im going to listen to micheal patcher (is that his name?) or w/e his name is and beleive ps3 is gunna outsell 360 is america by the end of this year....

- PS3: 269K 528K (66%)
- PS2: 264K 836K (76%)
- DS Lite: 251K 2.22m (90%)
- PSP: 230K 830K (78%)
- Xbox 360: 230K 1.03m (82%)

All the systems were within a small margin of one another....

 Thanks. So PS3 outsold 360 by over 10% margin, and pretty close to Wii's number.

 VGC is predicting that 360 outsold PS3 in Feb. let's just wait for NPD's number.
