Square is known to have unrealistic expectations.
So I have no idea if they are. They look fine when you factor in it's an expansion and the Wii U's install base.

That's a MMO on a Nintendo console though. One that has a small userbase with that.

I imagine the game is out on PC aswell. I guess the closest comparitive is seeing the japanese sales for the FFXIV expansion.
With that said, i'm thinking they are MMO's with different models. FFXIV will surely not be having an expansion every year.
