Forgot to quote earlier, but Chrono Cross is pretty memorable for me as well. It would be on my short list.

I'd say Xenoblade (the definition of epicness), Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 2, Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy VI.

A contender of mine would be super smash bros. Melee. Just the symphony is beautiful and the presentation is top-notch.

But it's been topped with Fire Emblem: Awakening's intro. Just everything about it is awe-stunning with no words to describe it when I first saw it (and it was in 3D, making it even better). The music. The CGI graphics. The questioning of the plot. Everything is perfect, and I would be amazed if FE:if could top it.
