The games alone make it worthwhile, so long as you like trying new things with an open mind. The discounts put the service over the top. When people bitch about having to pay for online I have a very hard time being sympathetic.

Yeah, unfortunately my subscription ends in September and the deals usually start around the holidays so I'm pretty much fucked into buying it for around $50 :(.

I find it hard being sympathetic to someone that thinks people should pay to play their games on P2P networks (most PS4 games). Even when it comes to games that have dedicated servers, is PS+ funding them? NO.

Theres no reason to force PS+ on people that just want to play online and dont have time for games that are just 'worthwhile'.

When Sony announced online required PS4 on PS+, at first I was glad, I thought it would get better with all the extra subscriptions. Instead Sony decided to pocket all the cash, and give us the cheap indie games which didnt perform well on the charts, most of which were puzzles and platformers, and we had 1 AAA fighting game. All those genres ranked the lowest in a poll on the PS blog when PS+ users were asked which genre of games they wanted.

It kinda sucks on the PS3 side lately I just let my 3 month subscription expire. Will probably only go with a one month subscription next time since back to back good month on the PS3 are rare now and I don't have a PS4.

Well it automatically resubs you once you sign up to it you have to manually unsubribe to it before your subscribtion runs out if you no longer want it.

My current subscription doesn't expire till 2016. I've had ps plus since 2013.

I haven't paid for my Ps+ yet, for some odd reason.
perhaps when i took the trial, that i paid for a entire year or something.
