How can the industry need Nintendo when the market has rejected it?

DAT PS4 already half PS3.

BTW PS4 is only behind PS3 because it had MGS4 in June.

Don't forget that 2002 was the year that ps2 was 199% from may and onwards,hence the huge boost in June 2002.As for PS3,the first half of 2008 was the year that it got many major games(DMC4,GTA4,MGS4,GT5 prologue) and had a price cut boost from the end of 2007.If PS4 goes 299$ in 2015,we will see a huge boost for it,as well.PS4 will most likely sell anything between 5-7mln this year,depending on price cut or not.
