Its a nintendo home console, it sold worse, thus your topic is wrong, get over it.
But still they dont lower the price, because dont care about their fans, there are many that want to buy a Wii U but cant justify the price of the console when the console only get a hand full of games a year. But noooo, not price cut because investors come first.

Fans have bought the WiiU. Its not expensive to us. Its only expensive to people who can easily live without it...

I could make a list like that for games I wont get on the PS4 or XB1, but only on WiiU. Some of the franchises you listed are on the WiiU btw...
