We'll 2DS is $129.99 so that's a reasonable price to expect.

True, but I think the reason why there is a 2DS is just to have a wider range.. A higher end version the XL for $200, the standard version, $169, and the cheap version $129.. and now, the new model, the n3DS.

Ur kinda getting off topic, u said they would have to do a price cut to the original, if it cost $169.99 at launch than a $129.99 price tag now would be reasonable since that is how much 2DS costs and I'm assuming that's at a profit.

September 2011-Super DS, $169.99

March 2013-Super DS XL, $199.99 (later launch of Super DS means no need for redesign quite so soon)

February 2015-price cut to $129.99/169.99, New Super DS XL-$199.99

Around the Network

If my memory serves me, about 2+ years ago, not long after the launch, I made a thread about similar thing, suggesting that Wii HD (later renamed to Super Wii) was better option than WiiU, with Wiimote 2, preferably as a break-apart controller which would serve for both motion and standard gamepad gaming and with around 1TFLOPS, which was more in line of what early rumours suggested.

Poll was 2:1 for WiiU...I wonder what would poll nowdays would look like...
