Lol, I should have actually checked my schedule before making that comment, turns out most of my bigger stuff will be done the week before E3 (I have a presentation on tuesday and wednesday that week), so that in the week of E3 I'll actually not have that much to do, I have to do some preparation for a seminar on tuesday which starts at 2PM though, so I still might not be able to watch the Sony conference live thanks to that being in the middle of the night here.

Had I not been able to watch the whole thing until wednesday I would have rather gone on a blackout than have things be spoiled for me, would have probably done a conference marathon once I came home wednesday evening. :D

Ok. Skipping Sony would be a bummer though. I hope you stay up. Yolo ;p

Verendus says there might a a Playstation exclusive announcement this year developed by Sega (not Yakuza). He doesn't say if it will be announced during E3.

To be fair it doesn't have to be a great game, it just needs to be good for it's intended audience.

Looking at what the game was trying to do, the demanding physics of Trico damaging the environment with his/her every move, demanding AI enemies trying to chace the Cat/Bird around, with a well connected relationship between the player and Trico, in a big, but seemingly intricate open world I can see what the issues will have been in trying to pull that off on PS3, especially looking at the level of detail, it looked beyond PS3 and I wouldn't be shocked if that's part of the problem of why it never made it to PS3 and why it's not yet been introduced on PS4, because moving over to an 8th gen system, as an exclusive it needs to look the part visually and run well.

I think the hype level is only natural given all of the above.

The magic needs to be there, for the audience the game is targeted at. If people have hyped the game up too much, then that's their issue, but I doubt they'll be pissed if it turns out to be a a good game. That's all it really needs to be IMO.

I know E3 is a bit later this year, but it is pretty quiet on the rumour front. It is good news really, last year Sony's biggest announcement for E3 and for PSX were both leaked.

Like I said on the Ps Nation thread, a GAF user talked about a Crash Bandicoot (I think) at E3. It counts as a rumor, right ? ^^
