Forums - Gaming - Best gaming laptop in $450-$600 range?

I have been pc gaming a lot more than I usually do lately, and I am thinking of getting a gaming laptop, but no where over 600 dollars. What is my best choice?

you'd be way better off trying to put together a desktop gaming setup for that price range. gaming laptops are generally way more expensive due to their small size...

What games do you want to play and at what resolution?

I'm planning to get games probably the largest being Black Ops 3 when it comes out.

Decent gaming laptops are in the 700+ range. You can get it down with discounts and deals but you have to be vigilant. The most important thing you need is GPU, so avoid integrated ones like the plague. Cause even if it is semi decent, you can't upgrade it so you are stuck.

You could probably get away with an I5 for BO3, but go for a Geforce card.

you need to at least double that price if you want gaming at good graphics with reasonable resolutions or get used gaming laptops.

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

Unless you can find a solid used laptop, you aren't going to get a good gaming laptop in that price range.

Geforce 750ti  ~120$

AMD FX-6300 (6 core cpu) ~99$ (with heatsink)  (future proof with DX12 soon out)

Gigabyte GA 970A DS3P ~50$ (motherboard)

random PSU ~30$

1 TB HDD ~50$

pc case ~40$

dvd player 15$

Probably under 460$ and will most likely beat anything a gameing laptop can do for under 700$.

get a cute lil pc case like this for it:

I wouldn't recommend a laptop for that price range and for what you're trying to run on one. Now a deskop you'll easily find better and upgradeable choices.

...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...

your gonna have to bump up your price the cheapest i can find new is $823 http://www.xoticpc.com/force-16gc-29029-860m-msi-ge60-apachepro-barebones-p-7173.html

but if i was gonna spend that much id go with the 960M instead its on sale and you get a $50 MIR so it will cost under a grand and your getting the 4720 i7 possessor http://www.xoticpc.com/force-16gc-29029-860m-msi-ge60-apachepro-barebones-p-7173.html
