It's a boring pick but just for the sheer number of masterpieces or near masterpieces and continued quality of their releases I have to give it to mario... Never seen a franchise withstand the effects of milking quite like super Mario/mario kart/smash etc

Otherwise I like so many... GTA, Europa Universalis, Battlefield (though don't care for the last two entries), final fantasy (up through 11), Zelda... Warcraft?

It's an American TV show about backwater hicks that make duck calls for a living. It was then turned into a horrendous video game by Activision.
