It's not like they've broken it forever, updates tend to mess with mods over time but modders come back and fix what was broken, this has happened with so many games for years, just look at Skyrim.

R* should really embrace the modding community more often though, your game gets modded either way and it lives a hell of a lot longer and becomes more popular for it as time goes by.

Bad, how? Blame the person, not the mod. If they use it online. And blame R* for not having a proper file check for online. And isolating Online from SP. So people don't get banned for no reason. With Single Player stuff. They ban people. But won't fixed the ruined scoreboards from obious hack abuse.

1 second to clear the final triathon, my ass. I can't even install mods into my game, cause of this. I don't even play on public servers. I always play in closed crew servers. We like to goof around with this stuff, when we're bored. Now we can't. Cause of ban risk. They couldn't just have a Pure Sever setting like Quake did 10 years ago.

Isn't this kind of normal. Don't the modders just have to update the mod for the new version, it's not like rockstar has officially stopped any sort of mods from working on their game, for ever.

Rockstar made the game, and if people actually read the purchase agreement on games they would know that we don't own the games we buy, we purchase the right to play them. Rockstar own the game, they can so whatever they want with it. we can't sue them for this at all, since it's their game, while we have only bought the right to play the games. It's still a bummer though, i was waiting for the price to go down, since i already own GTA on Ps4 ( since i own the right to play the game, it should be legal for me to jump on another platform to play it free of charge ) We aren't being forced to buy DLC's either, that is an option. We are forced to not mess around with their game, which is in their legal rights. ( i am a PC gamer ) i just understand the purchase and ownership on this shit, cause i read all of it. I would re-install the game, stop the game from patching and use the mods. If ofc the patch is linked to you're steam. C.mon PC gamer's, hate on me for not saying things that you all wanna hear. Yeah, they changed the EULA from what I understand, now all mods are banned, even in SP. Violators will be banned for 2 weeks. Pieces of shit, imo. Fuck Rockstar, hack the shit out of GTAV.
