It's not like they've broken it forever, updates tend to mess with mods over time but modders come back and fix what was broken, this has happened with so many games for years, just look at Skyrim.
R* should really embrace the modding community more often though, your game gets modded either way and it lives a hell of a lot longer and becomes more popular for it as time goes by.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
