I have no doubt that Xenoblade Chronicles X will be a good game, but I've never played a game like that, so I'm not too hyped for it. Will probably buy it though, at least then I'll know if this is a game for me.

Have zero interest in a game like Devil's Third, I don't even understand why Nintendo is supporting this. It won't sell. How anout supporting third party developers that make games Nintendo fans like? Like you know, platformers or adventure games. Same with Fatal Frame V, it's way too niche.

I'm worried that Nintendo's direct will just focus on games we already know about like Mario Maker, Star Fox, SMT X FE, Yoshi's Woolly World, Fire Emblem if, Xenoblade Chronicles X, etc.

I don't expect many new game announcements, maybe one big one (Next Level Games).

How much do we know about these really?

Yeah, those two wouldn't be bad (although I have personally zero interest in them).

I really like the Kraken form. Looks creepy.

The people is happy with the Direct on youtube, nice coments and only 15 dislikes. I think someone is getting too emotional here...

Well, I'm looking forward to the diversity. We got a 3rd person shooter, survival horror, arcade flyer, jrpg, action adventure,  and a platformer. And this is only the stuff we know about, who knows what E3 will bring.

Because that's somehow Splatoon's fault...

It is Nintendo's fault.

2015 looks to be worse than 2013 and 2014, unbelievable.

True, let's hope that E3 is going to blow doors down. Though I think this and Xenoblade X are going to be absolutely AMAZING, Devil's Third I hope will kill it too, as well as the Worldwide release of Project Zero V.

I need:

F-Zero

Metroid

Mario Smash Football 3

Animal Crossing U

New big IP from EAD

I'm kind of with Samus and Spemanig on this one, though maybe a little less emotionally invested because this game never really interested me anyway.

I really don't get the need for this staggered release, which it sort of is, I don't even know what to call it. I don't like where this is going. The trend of keeping stuff for updates and releasing incomplete games is toxic and pointless, and it has reached Nintendo. Everything they talked about adding is stuff that should have been in the game at release but isn't for an arbitrary reason that they can't even solidly explain without a cheap excuse. It's like Day One DLC, without it actually coming Day One.

And without it costing you anything.

No, that would have been the day.

Well, you'll probably get 1 or 2 from this list, and 1 or 2 you never seen coming that might interest you. All of these however is an almost certain not going to happen.

Uh yes, all Splatoon's updates are free.

The difference is that the content released for this is free.

True. And thats a big part of why I'm still very excited for this game. Also I'm not really opposed to the way they're doing this, lot's of free updates at regular intervalls is a good way to keep the community engaged and excited in the long term wich is especially important with a small install base.

It's fine to have the diffrents modes unlock over time too imo, I think it would be wise to have a few more maps to start out on though. You need a good base for this kind of release to build upon.

That said, I like how they showed off the diffrent weapons and customization, I think the Splatfest looks really fun and I'm hyped for the demo.

So wait, what you're saying is "2015 has a good number of games, just not the ones I like so this year sucks"?  I mean, I agree Nintendo should have paced their releases better so that there was a better mix of Nintendo staples and new stuff, but that doesn't mean I'm going to crap on the games coming out.  Star Fox, Mario Maker, Yoshi, Splatoon, Devil's Third, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fatal Frame V, and possibly SMTxFE are all coming this year plus probably some more things.  That's a pretty good lineup when you consider it's all exclusives.  And at least a couple are the kind of game you can sink hundreds of hours into easily.  Definitely not worse than 2013, that's for sure.  Comparable to 2014, but your taste is going to play a major part in that.
