BS's underwhelming debut shows that the first one wasn't as good as the press sold it. And this is not 2012 anymore : you can't come up with such weak graphics and expect massive sales. Now SquareEnix has little choice but to remake the two Bravely for PSV/PS4 if they want to go forward with the series.

And WTF with Idolm@ster discrepancy between to two trackers!? 

Is that a passive form of port begging?

 According to his logic, Every non 1st party Nintendo game should only be on Sony HW.... Literally EVERY NON 1ST PARTY NINTENDO GAME.

Im surprised he hasnt noticed lol. I never hear once say the opposite when a game does ok/underperform/bomb/etc.

Not a good opening for Bravely Second, but it's better than the ~70k we were expecting.

Also, nice to see PS4 up. It'll be interesting to see how hardware does next week.

I'm excited to see how Xenoblade does. I really hope it debuts over 100k copies. Although I'm expecting at least 130k. I'm also hoping that the Wii U will get a boost to 20k or 30k. (20k most likely, 30k because of the bundle)

Even if we don't count Nintendo's 1st party, the 3DS has 12 Japanese million sellers (including Bravely Default), the PS4 has 3 and the Vita has none. It's not rocket science.

Nope, I don't think every game/genre would fit to the PS audience. But Bravely is one of them and has room for improvement on the technical side : they could bank on that added value.

So if the series has room for improvement on the technical side than why not just release Bravely Third on Nintendo's next gen handheld which will likely be more powerful than Vita?
