You guys apparently don't realize the difference here so I'll re-iterate what was already pretty big news. Disney just worked out a deal with Sony (who owns the Spider-Man movie franchise) to include Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (everyone who appears in Avengers or is owned by Disney). They need a reboot because they can't have continuity errors by having past Spider-Man movies messing with the timeline of the MCU (especially since they take place in NY and they don't want the story baggage of clumsily trying to tie those 2 films in). So yeah he's getting a reboot but don't try comparing this to the Amazing reboot since that was due to them just making it to maintain the rights to the character. This is a good thing. Now he'll join the most well done, highest grossing studio of superhero films who have not made a bad film yet (3 mediocre but no bad). Their lowest rating on Rotton Tomatoes is 66% for Thor 2. All the others are 73% or above. They've made 4 films with 90% or more. Even Avengers 2 has higher meta than the last movie. Marvel Studios may finally get it back to Spiderman 2 levels of quality but at the very least they'll be better than the mess that was ASM2
