As a Spider-Man fan, this is great news! I liked the original movies with Tobey Maguire better than the Amazing Spider-Man films with Andrew Garfield, hope this reboot does Spider-Man justice!

We already knew it was going to be rebooted. And honestly it needed a reboot because there hasn't been a good Spider-Man movie for over 10 years.

Actually someone involved in the film recently said they wanted to spend more time with pre-powers high school Peter Parker than the other movies had.

Sadist! they must think everybody enjoys watching Uncle Ben die.

Skip the awkward high school nerd part and just make spidey the wise cracking newspaper photographer who is in his 20's.

This reboot has been official for a few months now, so this is pretty old news. They have also said they wouldn't do another origin story and will likely reintroduce the character in another movie before giving spiderman his own movie again.

I'm just excited for the animated movie that's being made.

Sony doesn't know what the hell they're doing with Spider Man anymore, and need to just stop making movies. Nothing will ever be as good as Spectacular. They should just make an animated film series of that. Remember when people used to pay movie theaters watch cartoons?

I thought this was already known. There was no way Marvel was letting Sony's Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) into their universe. Recent rumours suggest that Nat Wolff (20), Asa Butterfield (18), Tom Holland (18), Timothee Chalamet (19) and Liam James (18) are being considered for the role. With how young all of them are it's obvious that Marvel is going to try and make this Spider-Man last for at least 10 years.
