the original Xenoblade released on a sunday.

Actually no, it was released on a Thursday in the Japan and Aus regions. In NA and Europe it was released on a Friday.

SMT X FE is releasing in Japan in Winter?!?!?!?! Seriously? That is so soon. I would have thought Japan release next year.

As for Xenoblade release, Id say end of August to get the coming months of games rolling.

It actually is still pretty far out. 7 months.

Well yeah but I meant it as Atlus is working on both this and finishing Persona 5 (plus whatever else they are doing).

Pretty impressive.

It is actually very impressive. They just released Etrian Mystery Dungeon, about to release SMT: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker as well. They were working on a lot at the same time. I'm glad they're done with those two though so maybe they are putting more people on to those other projects?

Exactly my point. For a seemingly small company Atlus have been able to develop a lot of games, even though most are handheld titles.

I guess I am happy to see Atlus work on many games rather than one AA to AAA game a year.

I think Atlus outsources a lot of smaller games to small third party studios.

XCX is considerably larger than past RPGs, with way more dialogue, so it is difficult to say.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

If Nintendo of America and Europe are smart, and I hope they are, they won't rush localization but will have it ready to take Zelda's spot as their big Wii U release for late fall/early winter in 2015.

The success of Mass Effect, Skyrim, Dragon Age and Bloodborne has shown with the right advertisements you can people to buy RPGs and if timed right, away from any other big multiplatform release that would look similar, it could be a big boon for Nintendo.
