I'm neutral on this. Halo 5 could sell enough consoles to shoot up xbox one sales YoY but it might not especially if most of the year is down YoY. We'll see how it plays out but hopefully, ioi is on top of the numbers by then.

Well seing november was a record month on NPD and them surpassing it will be hard you have the problem of already being down at the moment. So if after June they are still down (dekinect) them it will be hard to be up yoy.

I don't think it will be down much, just basically flat or a little less than last year. There is essentially nothing coming out besides Halo 5 and I am just gonna bet that it will be the first Halo people stop really caring about.
Not to mention a PS4 price-cut is inevitable this year.
XBO will be up, but not more than +5% increase...
During the spring will be up in April and May, but will be down in June, because last year was a pricedrop. The same for July, August, and September... September very by a lot...
After that, we have October. It is gonna to be very crazy month. +350,000 in October NPD, MAYBE even 400,000, and October only will close the gap June+July+August+September.
The problem is the holiday... last year was literally crazy November... like December, but not so much...
Let's say: Will be down in November, and up in December.
November NPD: under 1,200,000.
December NPD: above 1,300,000.

I don't think that the Xone or the Ps4 can be down this year. COD is NG exclusive and that will impact sales in probably a huge way. It will be a very good christmas for the Xone and Ps4
Xbox One will definitely not be down this year. Don't underestimate the power of Halo. In addition to that, there's a Tomb Raider exclusive and the Call of Duty's will only be current gen now, which will force later adopters to come into the current gen. There could even be a price cut or hot bundles coming out soon.
