Excellent news. The load times were never that bad (or never felt that bad), aside from entering the Hunter's Dream. Having said that, shorter loading times and a more optimized playing experience will do me just fine!

At average I died about every 20-30 minutes so it never bothered me. If you died every 5 minutes then you probably rushed or you went somewhere you were not supposed to go yet.

Loading wasn't too bad for me but I will always appreciate less of it.

Finally, the game has been sitting on my hdd for weeks now.
One more lengthy download to wait and I can start.

Remembering DS2 where I hit a wall early in the beginning this wait will prove worth it.

Dying? That wasn't the problem, if you wanted to go somewhere you first have to go hunters dream - load time and then go to your location -load time-. Well it not matter anymore finished the game 2 weeks ago.

Exactly.  Im not even sure why people are defending it. Review after review mentioned this, i did as well.  It doesnt hinder the fact that its an amazing game but its pretty undeniable that the load times were extensive
