The Wii U will soon be getting a new indie horror game called Bizerta: Silent Evil. Developed by Edrox Interactive, the game is slated to be released directly on the Wii U eShop in the near future.

In Bizerta: Silent Evil, players assume the role of a 15-year old boy who finds himself in a “Dark World”, but as a man twice the age he was. It’s now up to the player to find out what happened and how he can get out — a pretty standard horror setting.

Edrox Interactive has released a bunch of screenshots, which reveal quite a good looking game. The screenshots also show how the Wii U GamePad will be used to solve puzzles, etc.

Doesn't look that bad. Probably won't pick it up though because I'm not big into horror games. (most likely going to get Fatal Frame V though)

The Gamepad stuff looks no better than the Wiimote minigames tacked onto some Wii ports. But the game seems interesting. Is it an exclusive?

No mention of exclusivity, maybe it'll just come out first on the Wii U then release on other platforms in the future.

Very excited for this game. Nice to see at least some horror on Wii U this year (Bizerta and Fatal Frame). I also like that both utilize the gamepad.

Looks ok. I hope they use the Gamepad in interesting ways

As one of those who mourns the decline of the horror genre, new ones are always welcome.
