Monolith/Nintendo - please fix the font!!!
RolStoppable said: What's annoying is that the displayed difficulty doesn't match the actual difficulty. At times you get something like a level 50 tyrant with six stars and a level 30 tyrant with seven stars. The former is obviously challenging while the latter goes down after a few attacks. |
I enjoy the two star retrieval mission I got at level 10. It involves retrieving a red collectible from a small alcove that's guarded by a level 50 monster who activates when you get close it. I did not beat that mission for a long, long time.
Volterra_90 said: By the way, were you capable of doing the 75000 credits in FrontierNav mission? I think I put the probes in the right place but I only managed to get like 50000 credits. I only have like 8,9 probes and the most leveled one is level 4. They're fairly hard to get. |
Which mission is that? I finished chapter 10 and my probes are at 75965 Credits and 60920 Miranium. But I don't have enough storage probes and should do more Kirsty missions soon. I planted all level 1-4 (can't unlock level 5 yet) probes when I got the flight module for the Skell. There was a storage probe at a rather hidden spot in Cauldros, too.

The mission is called "The root of all evil". It's actually 70000 credits, not 75000, but I can't reach that level, and I don't have enough probes to make a powerful chain. I have 3 level 1 probes, 1 level 2 probe, and 3 level 4 probes. I'm not sure if it's possible to reach that with these probes, I'll give it a try and see what happens. I have up to 8 storage probes, so I can storage up to 30000 miranium. But I'm always full of it so I don't mind a lot about that.
So you increase your maximum Miranium capacity by adding storage type probes, right?
Cos I'm mining plenty of it but constantly maxing out at 6000.
Also, how do probes level up?

Yes to the first part. Each probe increases your maximum in 3000 units of miranium. I don't know about any method to level up probes, if there's one. I think that the probes you get have the level fixed. If you get a probe of level 7, that's it, but it's better than getting a level 1 probe, obviously.
By the way, I'm trying the final chapter, my level is 47. Let's see if that's beatable :P
So, I managed to beat it. It was tricky, and some more levels would help a lot, but that's it. Ending is cool, there are some nice twists and revelations. It's not in the same league as XC's story, but it's not bad either. Oh, and expect a second part, that's for sure.

They did the same with Undertale, Rise of Tomb Raider, Bloodborne the old hunters, Super Mario Maker and now XCX. Their intentions are just too obvious. |
Hahahah calm down. The game is amazing. Love it and forget about the score.
