I love Chris Pratt so that's a big plus for this movie but I'm not sure I dig the plotline with "domesticated" velociraptors and super intelligent T-Rex. Also the throwback to the original (with the children in the bubble) felt tacky. In the end, I'm still going to see it (and probably enjoy it for a fun thrill ride) but nothing is going to replace the original.

Also, I'm with Augen and I'll say the mix of practical effects and CGI of the original gave a better feel than full CGI.

I agree. I think its insane that the I-Rex would remember where the device was placed, cleanly remove it and then set up an ambush. That's too much of a stretch imo. I mean, how would it even know the significance of a tracking device? However, I don't think its communicating with other dinosaurs, more like scaring the shit out of them and forcing them to flee. I believe that the wild/rogue raptors were the ones communicating.

I agree with this list except for the fact that Im not feeling Terminator at all. It looks like they've completely ruined the plot and I think they could have found a better Sarah Conor. Reese is nothing like Michael Bein in any way, from physique to personality . I mean in Salvation they managed to get his accent right but this actor looks all new and noobish. Nothing like the original character at all. Its just too much of a departure imo

I might see it just for stupid action and robots chasing each other but never in a theater.  Jurassic World doesn't look like the smartest movie but at least it'll be a blast to see in IMAX.  Ant-Man is only because I have faith in Marvel (especially when they pay me 50m per movie) as the trailers haven't wowed me.  BvS is the opposite I think they have great source material to work off of but I have no faith in the studio as The Dark Knight was their last film I actually liked (Rises was ok, MoS was bad to me, and Green Lantern...we all would just rather forget that).  I just don't have faith Snyder can make a movie I'll like after trying all the other ones and being disappointed.  The only hope I have is that the new writer will help with storytelling because the action was what he got right while everything else was bland or bad in MoS.  Fantastic 4 looks like a re-tread with better effects and still just as much characters that I've never liked.  At least sue is really hot but still not enough so that I'll want to see her tightly clad in IMAX I'll wait to stream it if the reviews aren't terrible like the last 2 (which I ended up seeing on cable and regretting it)

This just looks insane. I'm actually loving how there's once again a survival horror element that is well balanced with the dinosaurs, something that the last 2 seemingly missed.

The park was built upon the original Jurassic Park (hell they even have the same T-Rex supposedly), so it's not impossible that there are other remnants there, including raptors.

it looks dumb... and i love that!, will watch it day 1 if possible.

Jurassic Park was one of my favorite movies as a child and seeing it coming back is great, now add to that Star Wars and Terminator and you have a great year for me.

This is a great year for anyone who likes cinema. Episode VII, Mad Max and Jurassic World.

I am. I loved the first Jurrassic Park. I became completely obssessed with dinosaurs after seeing that movie as a kd. I hope they do this one justice. Then therse came out, my two favorite things together.
