While the PS3 may lag behind the PS2 and PS1 in terms of sales, it my favorite of the three in terms of games.

Well ps3 gets more aupported now than the 360 dueto japanese games so its a good decision you made.

I don't know?  It doesn't matter to me when a great game came out, just that it's great.

Too bad we can't say the same for Sega.... It was really irritating to see the series fade away into obscurity by the third game, which was Japan-only.

Honestly, it would probably be much more than that if you want to play even half of the best games. I got my PS3 at Christmas 2012, have almost 50 retail games and I've only beaten a third of them, roughly. Of course, if you've played the Bioshocks and the Dead Spaces and the other multiplats then it'll narrow down the list. I'm sure the exclusives would keep you busy for a year or two, though.  

When the PS4 came out, I promised myself I wouldn't buy it until I had beaten at least 3/4ths of all the PS3 games I own. But then, that gunmetal gray Batman PS4 came out and I caved and preordered it. I guess an out of control backlog isn't the worst thing in the world.
