It may just be an issue between us. You should try playing a match with somebody else and see what happens.

Just go to With friends ...choose the big BRAWL icon . Then you'll see create a room choose that if you want to host a game . When you click on it'll ask you begin new game ? Just hit yes and you'll be at select screen there you can set rules ect . The item on/off setting saved don't think you can save the other rules gotta set them agin everytime you host. If your hosting it'll say seeking don't think there a timer when time runs out and no one joins...you'll just be in the sandbag place waiting for someone to join. Controller setting are saved under your names which you can choose at the selection screen. They can join when they see your name under the friends thing to click on when they try to join you'll get a mssg saying do you allow them to join.....then you wait for them to choose character and stage . It'll tell you what the person is doing at the moment on the bottom....like if their at select screen, choosing stage, waiting, and brawling means their all set waiting for you to get done.

Okay, I get on and it says that B4L is in a match, and iclim is waiting to start a game with 2/4 players. I join iclim's game, and it immediately let's me in, then says the rules have changed, and I'm the only one in the match. :|
