Nope, wasn't used to frequent forums before here.

Wonder how would be to be a mod here though. Having to ban people I like should suck.

You could always take bribes.

OT: Nope.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

I was an admin/mod on a few sites back in the day. Admin is cool, but modding is bleh. Modding is like babysitting. Who wants to watch babies?

No, I'm much too badly behaved for that. ;)

Yeah, I've modded for other places. No forum with more than 100 active users though.

As always you sir have the coolest sense of humor in this site.

I'm a site admin for another forum, yes.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

I used to be an Ikariam mod.

I was a forum moderator of another site.

Now I'm just happy to be a forum member hahaha

I was a trial mod on an anime forum. I tried really hard at first, too, and wanted to make a difference because I did not like that the ruling faction of admins looked out for their core group first and foremost. Veteran users could get away with just about anything but new users would get banned if they argued back. Even as a veteran, I thought it sucked.

However, when the admins started the "trial mod" system and I was picked to participate, they forgot to hide the admin thread where they talked trash about users they didn't like. I read a good chunk of it before they remembered. My name was in there a lot, since some of the admins hated me, but that was fine. What got me, though, was how fucking juvenile the thread was, like a gossip thread with admins bitching about users left and right and making obnoxious comments. It kind of sickened me, and I completely stopped being a mod. Soon after, I left the site for good.

I have no interest in being a mod after that. I don't want to be a part of something like that.
