Holy hell someone hates Titanfall.  I believe it was 900k physical copies of Titanfall sold in first two or three which excluded PC sales, 360 sales and digital sales.  Selling a million in the first week was more than likely true.

Titanfall has had quite a lot of popularity since all of its map packs became free.  They never once called theirselves the next CoD.

Titanfall on XBO has sold 2,500,000+ plus and I don't even think the numbers are correct.  Believe it to be lower than the actual that this site shows.

Remember, Titanfall was RE's first game and they are a fairly small company.  Very goodgame considering it was their first as a new studio.

No. You are wrong.

There is only one official data that is NPD March where it sold 865k units (~1 million with bundles) in 3 weeks (it was released in March 11... so it was over 20 days)... that said it were Xbone + PC retail because the 360 version was released in April.

Now everything is expeculation...

How much Titanfall Xbone sold in the others 12 countries? You know it sold ~125k in UK but the rest? 300k? I'm being a bit generous here.

So in over 20 days (~3 weeks) Titanfall Xbone sold WW: 1.2-1.3m? You can say less than 1.5m for sure even with digital.

Bloodborne sold over 1 million in 11 days... half of the time of Titanfall estimations.

So you don't have official figures to backup anything in this thread... you know because EA never give us numbers.

Time to spice up the forums with an epic battle. The "niche game" vs the "next CoD"!

Titanfall opened to 900k and has now sold 2.57m.

Bloodborne sold over 1m in its first two weeks. Perhaps less than Titanfall? Although it has a higher install base to sell to from now.

What do you think?

The other Souls titles sold 1.5-3 million each and they didn't have half the hype or marketing this game has.  I predict 3-5m lifetime for BB due to massive legs.  It will win.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

[Prediction Made 6/18/2014]

Don't care. May buy bloodborne, but never tf.

Bloodborne. People just love saying it niche when it's not.

Includes digital, acording to the PR, so if we are just talking hardcopy sales 1 million in 2 weeks is a little misleading.

Still I think Bloodborne will do the job, mostly because Xb one was not the only place you could play Titanfall.

And anyone who thought Titanfall would be the new CoD was thinking very wishfully, at least with this first MP only, playstation excluded outing. I do have high hopes for Tf2 (not to be confused with TF2) though. Get a compelling SP campaign that's not just an extended tutorial and things could really get big for this franchise.
