Via the PS4 subreddit: PlayStation Now closed beta codes are now being sent out to people within the UK

People are also reporting that the games in the beta are absolutely free, but that could just be a mistake on Sony's end.

It's not a mistake. Sony themselves said games will intially be free, but as the beta progresses, they will start charging for games. Believe this also happened in the US beta.

Correct. Games are free during closed beta, they started charging in the US when they started open beta.
