Our eyes see at 400 megapixels, or 400,000 pixels.

So we see in 400k is that it ? What Im wondering is can we tell the difference ? I seriously have a hard time telling the difference btween 900p and 1000p, unless IM watching them go side by side I cant look at a game running in 900p and say "Oh thats 900p".

I wouldn't know.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

12k doesn't has never currently referred to the actual resolution
just like 4k doesn't technically refer to the resolution, 4k is UHD or 2160p, however 2 1080p screens can also be "4K" despite not being 2160p, nowadays 4K UHD resolution is possible so thats less common
1080p is 2K

4K with 3 screens is "12K"
PC Racing games have supported 3 screens for quite some time now.

Well, actually, it does, it's defined by DCI as 4096x2160, it's just that most people, unless they're in cinema industry, refer to UHD as 4K these days.
