Sorry. Fixed for you.

Mortal Kombat looks today very nonviolent.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Fine Bros making dat money.

I remember when this game came out and it was a national scandal. Parents and teachers were trying to get it banned because of the violence. Now it looks like a Care Bears episode.

Also, don't these kids know how to block?

It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P

I was disappointed they didn't dive into that topic a bit more and explain the controversy back then. It would be interesting to see the reflection and comparison to today's games.

And some of them sort of knew how to block....

Yeah, I watched it again and I'll give some of them credit for their blocking skills. :P

And I agree. It was such a big controversy that it would've been interesting for them to explain the history of it more. Kind of funny that violence in video games doesn't get brought up much any more since it seemed like such a big deal back then.

This was just a bunch of random kids playing old school MK. Other than the one graphics complaint, there wasn't anything interesting.
