No love for Spartacus and The Magnificent Seven those are two of my favorite movies from the 60's. Plus in that year you also had The Time Machine which is one of the most underrated movies from the 60's and Swiss Family Robinson was one of Disney's better movies from the 60s and one of their best early live action movies.

Raging Bull, The Shinning, Airplane!, The Elephant Man, and Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back are my five favorite movies from 1980 but overall 1980 wasn't that great a year for movies but overall I would rank it ahead of my birthyear of 1972. The Godfather is great but everything else from that year is kinda sub par or just average at best.

A pretty good year for movies imo, I like all 5 of those movies, 3 of them in particular.

Not bad my favorite from that year is Glory which is also one of the most underrated movies from the 80s and still the best movie about the Civil War.

1956 was actually a pretty good year for movies even though I think that The Searchers is a bit overrated.
