Oooooh he said that?! LOL Well I can tell you that, yes they do have the same basic move set. However, Ken, Ryu, and Akuma play COMPLETELY different from one another. None of the have the same normals. Enough of that though.

What can MS do to expose KI more? CDJR, Rico Suave, etc should be hyping it more as well. Getting others to play it competitively so that we can see the scene grow.

KI is growing in FGC and is actually one of the more popular games, but its not at the same level as capcom games like Street Fighter.  I think a lot of that has to do with KI being Xbox more than anything.  Thats not attacking xbox or anything, but you dont see japanese gamers really trying to get interested in it, and japanese gamers are important in FGC.

KI itself though has had millions of downloads and Ken Lobb said its pretty much been #1 downloaded game on XBO since launch.  This was a few months ago when he said this. Hoping to see more of those players play at high level tournaments though.  The last tourny i watched a couple weeks ago had a lot of new faces though so that is a plus

You're absolutely correct. I noticed that the Japanese audience really didn't take to this game. They are a finnicky bunch. UMVC and SF4 are still priority. Let's not forget Smash is still becoming more popular. From what I hear, Japanese gamers aren't really fond of westernized games. I don't know how true that is, but it's sad for them to miss out on incredible games like KI. I could see some folks like Daigo or Poongko going crazy in this game. Shame really.....

I think if an when KI goes to PC it could improve that a little bit, but yeah it is a shame japanese gamers are that way

I hate to say it but Japan was packed with games are far more underrated than KI like KOF and other SNK and Neo Geo hits. Once SF5 launched on the PS4 thats it, Japan is going to definitely start picking up PS4's though.

Its not CDJr and those guys jobs to hype it up, but they are getting on the road going to all of the tournaments (which are not large enough anyway). KI  is going to take a while to get majorly popular and that primarily going to come out the evo scene. I talk to the guys sometimes and They are trying their best. When SF5 comes out most people will jump ship no doubt.

Did not know it was a Double XP weekend.

STAGE what happened to your Fight Nights? We should try to get that rolling again.

Been saying this since 2013. This game was Day 1 A 1. The reason why I upgraded right away. 1st game i purchased and it keeps getting better. Was light as fuck on content as 1st but look at it now. Keep going and crank the advertising up and it may compete in a market dominated by Capcom mostly.

Yea, I got this game Xbox One launch day. Its like a totally new game.

I've came to this conclusion and will say it again. As much as i don't want this to happen. If Street Fighter can get on PC KI needs to be on PC. One is established and one is trying to find its groove but point remains.

I'll be on in a few if anyone wants to challenge me
